The request
Following the renovation of Ostia Hospital, the fire-fighting set was replaced with a DAB set consisting of an electric pump, a jockey pump and a diesel engine-driven pump, specifically:
Diesel engine-driven pump 60150083 1KDN 100-330/290 MD EN 12845
Electric pump 60177080 1KDN 100-330/290 110 T400/50 IE3 EN 12845-KV 3/15
Both these pumps meet the following requirements:
flow rate= 230 m3/h
head= 140 metres
motor power= 110 kWatts
Fire-fighting pump sets include an electric control panel for each pump, connected to the main components (motor, pressure switches, sensors, batteries, etc.).
Diesel engine-driven pump sets have a vibration dampening system that reduces the amount of the vibrations produced by the Diesel engine reaching the system. The Diesel engine-driven pump includes two start-up batteries and a Diesel tank providing 6 hours of continuous operation. The Diesel engine can operate continuously at full load in accordance with ISO 3046 standards, curve NA (section 10.9.1 of UNI EN 12845).
