The request
The drainage system of a residential building was improved with the installation of a FKV 80 40.4 submersible pump.
Due to the special design of the vortex impeller, set further back than a traditional impeller, the sand particles in the pumped stream of waste water come less in contact with the impeller, ensuring the longer life-span of the pump.
The FKV pump replaced an existing pump and, thanks to the accessories (including the Flygt coupling adapter), it was possible to keep the entire structure of the installation unaltered, minimising the costs of manual labour for the installer.
