Pumping systems for the OBI – Burger King business park

The request

The new “business park” covers about 7,000 square metres in the territory of the province of Milan and consists of an OBI store and a Burger King restaurant. DAB supplied the pumping sets and systems for the following structures and substructures of the building:

450 m3/h sprinkler fire-fighting system consisting of two diesel pumps and one electric pump;

rainwater collection and disposal system with four submersible pumps;

waste water collection and release system with two pumps;

thermal power unit for heating and air conditioning system, with electronic circulators.

The buildings introduced new state-of-the-art technology respecting the surrounding environment: temperature control devices, energy consumption supervisors, heating and cooling systems with high efficiency heat pumps powered by an integrated photovoltaic panel on the roof of each building.
